Position Summary

The Merchandising Executive supports the end-to-end merchandising operation to ensure products are accurately set up, launched on time, and commercially ready for sale across all store channels. This role is responsible for order administration, SKU creation, shipment coordination, payment documentation, product data management, and promotional execution while maintaining smooth communication with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Order, Document & Payment Coordination

·      Verify purchase orders, order confirmations, invoices, and shipping documents.

·      Maintain proper filing and tracking of merchandising documents.

·      Prepare documents for supplier payments and coordinate with Finance team.

SKU Creation & Product Set Up

·      Create SKU codes and product articles in internal systems.

·      Ensure all essential product information is complete and accurate before launch, including pricing, barcode, size, colour, description, and cost.

·      Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure products are ready for selling in stores and online channels.

Shipment & Delivery Coordination

·      Monitor shipment status and delivery schedules.

·      Coordinate with Shipping / Logistics team regarding incoming goods and timelines.

·      Update internal teams on shipment progress or delays.

Product Information & Promotions

·      Prepare product and brand information for new arrivals.

·      Support pricing and assortment data updates.

·      Coordinate monthly promotions with internal and external parties.

·      Ensure promotional pricing and SKU setup are accurate before launch.

Reporting & General Support

·      Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales, stock arrivals, shipment status, and promotions.

·      Update merchandising trackers and internal reports.

·      Support merchandising team on daily operations, seasonal launches, and ad hoc tasks.

·      Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree in related field.

·      1–2 years of experience in merchandising, retail, or administration.

·      Good Microsoft Excel and computer skills.

·      Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.

·      Good communication and coordination skills.
