Overview:

Responsible for researching, evaluating, and selecting emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in IT solutions, processes, product features, and overall business performance. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for business improvement and technological advancement, as well as evaluating, testing, and ensuring the successful adoption of new IT solutions within the organization. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and eager to solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., AI, cloud computing, RPA, IoT) to identify opportunities that enhance IT solutions, processes, and product features, ultimately driving business performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams—including IT Architects, Application & Support, Operations, and Business Units—to identify opportunities for technological advancements and business improvements.
• Lead the evaluation and testing of new IT solutions to ensure they align with business needs and technical requirements. Drive pilot programs and prototypes to assess the viability and impact of emerging technologies.
• Facilitate the successful adoption of new IT solutions within the organization. Collaborate with change management teams to ensure smooth integration and adoption, while providing training and ongoing support to stakeholders.
• Assess the feasibility and return on investment (ROI) of new technologies and IT solutions. Provide data-driven recommendations for technology investments based on business impact, scalability, and long-term value.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of the organization’s innovation strategy, ensuring that new technologies align with both short- and long-term business goals. Create a technology adoption roadmap that reflects business priorities.
• Monitor the performance of newly implemented IT solutions to ensure continuous improvement and optimization. Offer recommendations for refining processes and solutions based on feedback and data insights.
• Build and manage relationships with external vendors, technology partners, and startups to explore collaboration opportunities and source innovative solutions that align with organizational needs.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide thought leadership and help the organization maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5 years in IT innovation, digital transformation, or a related field.
• Proven experience in evaluating and adopting emerging technologies for business improvement.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing technology implementation.
• Experience in Retail or similar industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of business operations and strategy.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and business teams.
• Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
• Passion for technology and continuous learning.
